Loved having free bikes to explore the area! Oh, and the kitchenware and stovetop were just amazing. Towels were also a nice touch.
Oh, how I adored the creaky stairs. said no one ever.

The gite is a hidden gem, surrounded by stunning natural beauty and offering a "home from home" experience. The renovated farmhouse building is tastefully decorated and fitted with modern amenities. Guests can enjoy the breathtaking views and observe wildlife, including a large population of swifts. The nearby village of Arc-en-Barrois adds charm with its lovely bakery.
The wooden chairs on the outside could be more comfortable for longer periods of sitting.

The room at Gite 6 Pers De La Vallee De L'Aujon was cozy and welcoming. It had a warm and homely vibe, which made us feel right at ease. The bathroom with a shower was a nice touch, perfect for refreshing after a long day of exploring Arc-en-Barrois. As an easygoing guest, this room suited my laid-back style perfectly.
The only thing that I didn't particularly love was the bathroom. While it had a shower, I would have preferred a bathtub instead.

The cottage was beautifully renovated and tastefully decorated to a very high standard. Everything was as promised and the hosts were accommodating and helpful. the setting was rural, offering peace and quiet, and the location served as a convenient base for exploring the surrounding area. the fully equipped kitchen was a great feature, allowing us to prepare meals at our own convenience. the stunning view from the cottage was an added bonus.
The wooden chairs outside were not the most comfortable for long periods of sitting, it would have been nice to have some cushions or sun loungers. there were quite a lot of insects around, but this was to be expected given the rural location, and there was nothing the hosts could do about it.

I had the pleasure of staying at Gite 6 Pers De La Vallee De L'Aujon in a beautiful retreat location. the converted farm building was decorated and fitted to a high standard, giving it a cozy and home from home feel. As a nature lover, I was amazed by the huge population of swifts that were attracted to the disused farm building on, site. Watching them was truly breathtaking, and there was plenty of other wildlife to admire as well. Close by, the village of Arc, en, Barrois was lovely, with a great bakery to satisfy my cravings. Cons: Nothing not to like! 🌟.
